The United Methodist Association of Health and Welfare Ministries (UMA) is a national association of United Methodist-related, and other faith-based ministries, and professionals actively involved in promoting quality care in a Faith-based setting.
Headquartered near Dayton, Ohio, UMA serves more than 380 health and human service organizations and professionals nationwide.

- Serve more than 32 million people each year in 1555 locations across the U.S.
- Employ 354,000 individuals providing loving care in the name of The United Methodist Church

UMA offers a number of Services and Events to assist members in keeping current in technologies, programs and requirements. The Annual National Convention provides not only training classes and CEU's, but offers tremendous networking opportunities with other organizations and personnel. Other training and networking opportunities include UMA University, the Children, Youth and Family (CYF) Summer Workshop, the Older Adult Ministries (OAM) Leadership Dinner, and the Keep The Fires Burning program. Additionally, UMA has the only national faith-based accreditation program, EAGLE, which promotes excellence in all member organizations. UMA also offers numerous savings programs for member organizations, such as the Prescription Savings Card (PS Card) program, United Group Purchasing (UGP) and the Employee Purchase Programs
