“Keep the Fires Burning”

A Seminar Created for:

• CEO’s at United Methodist related health and human service organizations who would like to learn more about the relationship between their organization and The United Methodist Church

• Anyone within a leadership position at a United Methodist organization who seeks improved understanding of their ‘Connectional Unit’ and is devoted to quality care

• Non-United Methodist personnel and Boards of Directors at United Methodist related health and human service organizations who would like to know more about the relationship between their organization and The United Methodist Church or are or will be faced with the challenge of selecting future leaders

As United Methodist related organizations, you are encouraged to provide services that ensure the Wesleyan traditions of healing and caring ministries and spiritual well being are preserved.

As members of the United Methodist Association, we prescribe to a Code of Ethics that was “inspired by and created” from the traditions, theology and social conscience of the United Methodist heritage.

How do we, as United Methodist related organizations, share this heritage and these traditions with the leadership staff at our facilities? How do we ensure that our heritage will not be forgotten and that the flame of United Methodist will continue to burn long after we depart?

The “Keep the Fires Burning” or KTFB seminar is designed to share the United Methodist heritage and the history and significance of our Wesleyan traditions. It is designed to remind us that our work is the ministry of The United Methodist Church, and, it is designed to renew the individual spirit within us all!
